Did CSX 320 get scrapped?

Perhaps CSX 5474 was involved in the wreck in upstate New York a month or so ago.

I saw these units trailing in Dyer, IN Southbound.

As one of my hobbies, I keep a log of the locomotives I see. I don't think it was the NY derailment as I saw 5474 going south here in Richmond Va on June 27, the day of the NY derailment.

Sorry, you can disregard my comment as I was looking at a different number.

CSXT 5474 was the lead unit involved in a rearend collision December 2012. The train was a seasonal UPS train from Danville, IL to UP Global I in Chicago. The train was running westbound on #1 track on CSX's Blue Island Subdivision and crossed over to #2 track at 88th Street. #2 track was occupied by a coal train. The crew misinterpreted the signal and didn't realize that the block was occupied, leading to them encountering the coal train on a curve near 83rd Street at approximately 25 MPH. CSXT 5284 was the second unit of three on Q16105 mentioned above. (5387, 5284, 320) The referenced news story and video contain some inaccuracies. The main one being the statement that the third train was running in the opposite direction. This is not true. All three trains, K683, Q395 and Q161, were westbound. CSXT 5474, 5387 and 5284 were repaired and placed back in service. CSXT 320, 517 and IC 2464 were scrapped. CSXT 517 and IC 2464 were the power on Q39506. I was the engineer on Q16105.
