Actually, much of the equipment in this shot may be M4/M6 electric MU cars, as opposed to M2s. The M2s, being older, have for the most part been through overhaul/rebuild programs and generally wear the newer "orange end" paint scheme with red/white safety stripes where the orange "band" is on these. Your photo ID 448116 is an example, that is an M2 "married pair." The M4s/M6s are "triplets," with a cabless car in the middle. Given the angle, it's tough to tell what the two sets in the middle of the photo are, but the one on the right is definitely a "triplet," as is the set on the ladder track on the left (2 pantographs visible on those sets). The M2 "married pairs" have only a single pantograph per set.
