Yards are fascinating. I got the opportunity to go up into the tower at Barstow yard years ago but with the stipulation that I not take a single photo. (I didn't.) Your is great.

I like this angle and depth. I see on the map that the 6 tracks on the right have blocks. My question is when building the train on the other 15 tracks what is used to stop the first car from going onto the mainline? I hope this makes sense. thank you.
