Typically unique Down Undah railroadin'! Good 'ole Yank diesels built to Aussie specs and bad 'ole Yank fast food for a snackie when the action slows down. Australia might just have the most varied, interesting diesel scene in the world right now. Wish I had the $$ to see it in person....

Cheers Malcolm Cunningham, not to mention three different gauges as well across Australia, 3'6" (1067mm or Narrow Gauge) which is featured here, 4'8.5" (1435mm or Standard Gauge) and 5'3" (1600mm or Broad Gauge)... There is one place in Australia that has all three gauges in the one place and that is Peterborough, South Australia where there is a Triple Gauge Roundhouse... Yes Australia as a lot of variety in the Locomotive department at the moment, but before too long this will change and all locomotives will start to look like each other...
