It even looks like a "Johannessen", tut it's all you, and at 1 second, not bad at all! I've been looking forward to trying a few of these - if I could only find a train that is lit up at night. I don't think I'll count on a random spark, however! Congrats, Darryl!

WOW!! That is SO cool!! What an incredibly lucky shot!! Most of us living anywhere near Amtrak can see diesel or catenary, but third rail on a Genesis locomotive isn't something we get to see often, making this a nifty shot! As for your pan quality, I can read the word "Amtrak" so I would rate this pretty darn excellent! PCA!!

Superb shot, Darryl! A little luck never hurt any photographer. Enjoy the noise of the city, what a change (I moved from Cape Cod to a city in China). Keep shooting.
