When I was a Conductor on the CP 1997-1999, we tried to get a few of these sent to St.Paul since a few of them were in better shape then some of them that we were using at the time. Train #212 & #213, the St. Paul - LaCrosse way freight still had a manned caboose at the time. One of my favorite trains to to mark on to.

If the plural of goose is geese...is the plural of caboose, cabeese?

Dave, did they scrap these or something else? Every little boy or girl would love to have one of these in their back yard to use as a fort. Heck, I would love to have it to have my Railroadania collection housed in along with my model train set. I would take it as-is. Thanks for sharing.

Steve - a number were donated (including No. 1 to the museum in Duluth). The rest were sold so they are scattered across the upper Midwest for the most part.

Dave, thanks for the reply & for keeping me informed. I do believe that our back yard would be dramatically improved if we had one. Thanks again.
