This was probably the best railfan spot in my hometown of Eau Claire. I have a few more shots from this area. As a kid my friends and I used to bicycle up to the crossing and watch the "400" go by (pre-camera). Later we would watch all three roads switch the Uniroyal plant in the background. The left hand track connected to Soo-Milw and entered the plant. In college (about the time of this photo), I got to the point where I would visit the tower operator on the night shift. I'll look for a few more images from here.
