Does anyone out there know why "Ocean View" wears Phase III stripes in a sea of Phase IVb stripped equipment? Otherwise, it would be a wonder ride in such a scenic part of the country!

It was once in phase IV colors and was used as recently as 2010?, on the surfliners. It was referbished as part of the 40th anniversary train and i guess is now just used in special roles.
