Your nearly completed "Steamtown" book is getting anxious over the thought of a new book project on NY's elevated line. How you keep find such incredible scenes defies my imagination. Congratulations!

When one thinks a particular subject is not worth photographing, is just because it's lacking a proper context and light, and this is a good example of that. This is a magnificent picture made out of a common material; it speaks more about the city and the photographer talent than a simple train.
Easy PCA from me.

Another awe-inducing capture of Big Apple transit! Superb!
|
Super!
|
Great light, and a beautiful perspective of Brooklyn!
|
Dennis, you are the king of urban transit images.....
|
What an amazing photo. The light and angle come together beautifully. This is my vote for PCA. Please keep the subway images coming!
Note the abandoned trackways on the abandoned upper level of the Myrtle Avenue station, next to the tower. These once continued farther down Myrtle Avenue, eventually entering Manhattan on the Brooklyn Bridge, having long since been abandoned.

Ditto to all the above Dennis, simply brilliant.

Being a light rail operator myself, my thoughts on this transit photo...OUTSTANDING!

Should be a SC, PCA 1 and POTW. But, at the very least you have my vote to help you accomplish a PCA1, Dennis...
|
Magnificent.
