Like the view of this "Driver's" view in the cab Georg. It's interesting to see the different set-up of locomotive operation controls in other countries. However, for those of us outside of Switzerland and un-familiar to the control cab - could you please explain what we are looking at and what the set-up is on how these controls work? I take it the black wheel is the throttle? Thank you for the photo, but how does it work?

I want to try it. First: I am not a train driver and the cab is currently not in operation, so on the left in the middle is missing a lever with which the pantograph is raised. The two levers in front of it are for the main switch and for the direction of travel or the electric braking. With the large black hand wheel 15 steps for the electric motors for driving or electric braking are actuated. Right front is the brake valve for the air brake of the train and behind for air brake only the railcar (when maneuvering). The two round instruments top left are for the air pressure in the main air reservoir and in the air line of the train.

Georg, thank you! It now makes more sense to understand the controls a little better, even though you aren't a "Driver"! Thank you for the explanation 'attempt', as you seem to know what we are looking at and did a wonderful job of explaining it! I can appreciate this photo even more, and admire the skill it takes to operate this electric railcar!
