One word comes to mind while looking at this photo...IMPRESSIVE! From this vantage point Dan, I would guesstimate that the oil train - while being .99% visible due to the section hidden by the tunnel - is approximately 1 to 1 1/2 mile(s) in length? That's an incredible shot to be able to get the locomotives, AND the rear way back along the river on the upper right land mass! Your remark reminds me of a small town here in Ohio where the local police tried to create a speed limit on Conrail trains running through town. One of their officers "chased" a "Hotshot" Conrail Piggy-back train for 5 miles before he finally forced the train to stop, and issued a speeding ticket to the crew. Needless to say, Conrail Federal Police promptly issued a warning to the town Police Chief that if they ever stopped one of their Trailer-Van trains again, it had better be for a REALLY good reason or for an emergency situation and not a speeding ticket!

I would like to see how the sheriff is going to pull the train over and cite the engineer for speeding!
