Looks like "fun" for the crew in/on 4014..but why is the UP Federal Police Officer taking a picture of you Chris? (Last guy to the left in the tender with a camera pointing at POV.) Yes, that is a UP Police officer! I wonder if he took photos of EVERY person trackside? What will they do with those photos I wonder?

UP Federal Police Officer taking photos of people taking photos, If you are not actually trespassing on UPRR property then there should not be an issue! Really great photo Chris, I just love seeing all these pictures of 4014 on the move. Thanks for sharing it with us all.

I really hope the UP steam crew gives in detail break down updates of the restoration of the Big Boy. I am so curious about what it is gonna take to do this.

Railroad police are not Federal employees, they are railroad employees. The only thing they have to do with the Feds is that they work for an industry regulated by the Federal Gov't. Maybe he was also a railfan, taking pictures from "the other side"........ Believe it or not, some of us railroad employees / former employees are also railfans. (No comments from the peanut gallery about the Federal government, please. This is a railfan site, not a forum to discuss politics).
