Posted by Bill Caywood on August 4, 2014  This is one of the early I. C. rebuilds, which were called "Frog Eyes" by Railfans, back in the day. Also these early rebuilds retained the as built cab with a chopped nose, while later units got cabs built at the Paducah shops.
