What a nice paint scheme. Not sure I've ever seen a color picture of a CGW covered wagon like this one. Thanks for posting.

Living approx 50 mi. north of KC in St. Joseph, MO. on the CGW mainline I never saw this particular paint scheme, being it was about 14 years before my birth. However I did watch many Maroon & also the Red CGW covered wagons passing thru town. Right up until it all disappeared & then Green & Yellow took over.
