I saw this photo and just had to comment Chris. Nice photo with some colorful background too. I'm glad to see the sun cooperated just at the right moment too. Excellent vantage point and composition. I also like the "Buckeye Crossbuck" standing tall there at the crossing. That was an idea thought up by a Conrail Engineer with help of a signal maintainer who both worked out of the then Conrail now NS Buckeye Yard (Now unused on the NS side - the intermodal yard is still in use by CSX) on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately these unique and "collectible" crossbucks are being fazed out and removed from crossings they were protecting.
