Do you know what that huge white sign on the side is for?

I apologize for not identifying the plaque on UP 2421. That plaque was commemorating a track foreman by the name of Lynell Smith, out of Alexandria, LA. I took a picture of that plaque, and if anyone would like a copy of it, please drop me an e-mail to rum.runner@juno.com?subject=plaque, and I'll send you a copy. Lynell Smith won a safety award I believe, and I also suspect that he may have passed away, as I don't remember seeing any engine, regardless of the livery, with a plaque on the side.
