Steve thanks for this but is that your reflection we can see in the smoke box door?..... I have to agree that it will be nice to see another Bulleid Pacific back in (no doubt, rail-tour) service but I for one will find it more appealing once the high gloss finish has been worn off the new black paint!

There is no mistaking the unique countenance of these Oliver Bullied Pacific's. I consider myself most fortunate not only to see and ride sister "Tangmere" in 2007 but to have seen several others in operation back in 1965. Nice photo and thanks for the information Steve.
