To these older eyes, yes, the pantograph mucks up the simple symmetry of the PCC. On the other hand, the rest of the car never looked better, particularly in front of that classic equal-age building. And a PCC in this day and age doing what it was designed to do? Well, no one can complain about that! Who knows, maybe in another 60 years I'll get used to that pantograph. Well done El Roco!

I was born in San Diego shortly after the PCC were discontinued: they would have been a fine sight to see - and use.
