Beautiful Picture talk about taking in so much. The Capital, new cantilever signal bridge and all the old catenary bridges. You have to wonder why the catenary isn't still hung here since all of the supports are still there. Sometime this country of ours just doesn't make any sense.

It doesn't take much wondering why the catenary isn't still hung. The end of electrification was about three miles from this spot, on the other side of the river at Potomac Yard. No more PRR, no more Pot Yard, no more electrification.
