WHAT CAUSE IT TO BE LIKE THAT ? I BET THAT CUT DOWN THE TRAFFIC ON THAT SECTION FOR A WILE. THOSE 2 PEOPLE NEAR THE ENGINE MUST BE BRAVE.COULD THEY DROVE THE ENGINE OFF OF THE BRIDGE?

This is incredible. The river is the Trinity. I'll bet that I've driven (or been driven) by there a thousand times in the last 60 years. I don't think that I've ever seen any MAJOR work on that bridge. You can see how the water has taken its tole on the foundations. I've seen the water within a few feet of the rails and down so low that a lot of sand shows in the bottom.
Numb3rs, huh? Gotta start watching the re-runs.
