This makes me think. I remember Trains Magazine's annual Motive Power Review from 1990 (I read it everyday during my freshman year in high school during PE class). BN was the innovator back then with many of their rebuilds bringing new life to models that were being retired then, and now being rebuilt again. NS seems to be the innovator of rebuilds now, albeit with models we take for granted now-SD50s, SD40s, GP50s, etc. Back then BN was keeping the GP9, GP30 and GP35s going with rebuilds. BN (BNSF) has fallen silent while NS has become the new innovator. Thank you NS!

Nice paint job- if you like black. Sure wish NS would do something a little brighter and more appealing. Maybe imitate those fancy reds, yellows ???????
