Posted by Chip Allen on February 14, 2015  The track on the right is a lead which extends from the now abandoned and demolished Atlantic Steel Mill (behind-south of me) to Armour Yard (around the curve ahead-north of me). Because of annual trackwork, the Amtrak Crescent has been terminating after this station stop and turning on a wye, then shoving back into the spur at the south end of the track you're asking about until the northbound train originates later that day.
