What's with the 2 sets of horns?

Hi,
They have 2 sets of horn, because when they start the train very early in the morning, they cannot test the horns because it would wake-up the neighbors. So they installed 2 sets, at least one set will work if they need it.

The extra set is redundant to avoid testing in residential areas in the middle of the night.

GO Transit's equipment do not have the 2 sets of horns. Although they do have a whistle ban here in Toronto, except in an emergency. The electronic bells, are another story. I hate those with a passion, but thank you for your answers
