Wouldn't a locomotive in DP mode do the same? I love the traffic light on this.

I am assuming that these replaced the orange boxcars CN had that pretty much had the same purpose.

I was wondering what that was. I'm pretty sure I saw one go through Bellevue Michigan a week ago or so.

A shipping container is much lighter than a locomotive, and if you don't need a DPU on the back of the train there's definitely a use for this.
