Nice shot. Expect to see Gandalf and Frodo walking around.
Tremendous photo!
Excellent!
One ticket to British Columbia, please! Wow - what great location find - and kudos on your ability to see and capture the scene so well! Just spectacular!
Great shot! The overcast and clouds makes this image work.
It looks like someone hiked to the area before you to leave their mark on a bridge pier. I guess it is not as inaccessible as it looks.
Fantastic mood. Voted.
Breathtaking! Superb photograph.
"...and it was simply breathtaking" -- as is your depiction of the scene. Fabulous work!
A beautiful photo with amazing scenery. It looks like a fantastic model railroad scene. Perfect except for that wilderness graffiti on the bridge pier.....bears?
Like one of those Chinese landscape prints with clouds and fantastic rock formations.
Welcome to Beautiful British Columbia! PCA from a fellow British Columbian!

Wow - simply surreal. Executed so well it almost was if it was taken right out of a 3D world simulator. A well deserving PCA vote from me.
I absolutely love this picture, one of the absolute best I've seen from the BC Rail, both BCR era and CN era. Thanks for sharing, I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

In a more civilised era (the 1990s) one could travel this route by regular passenger train.

What an amazing photograph - breathtaking scene and the tough looking CN consist looking good in the foreground.
This is just too cool! What an awesome photograph!
One of the best pictures I have ever seen from this area....Awesome!
Amazing find through such rugged scenery! Love it. Its funny to me that at some point a scouting crew said, "yeah, this would be a great route to build a railroad, no problem". I'm sure they had little other choice, though.
Absolutely surreal!
Wow, that is a FIRST TIME that you will always have fond memories of and perfect composition! The effort to build such a line in that terrain boggles the mind and seeing this shot just reminds me that British Columbia is a must see for me. Great job Matthew
Proof that great photos can be made under heavy overcast skies!
Spectacular in every way!
