I think Stephen Hook's pictures are the first on RP that I've seen that were shot from a drone. Truly outstanding work.

Really surprising that you're allowed to use a 'Drone' to make photographs in the USA. I would have imagined the authorities would have been on you like a ton of bricks! Nice photo and really great what can be done in 'digital' photography today!

I find that since these drones are so small, it's virtually impossible to regulate the flying of them. I wasn't flying more then 50 feet in the air so they generally don't have any problem with it.

50 feet does a lot for a photo... nice job! And when you think about it... you really aren't much higher than a standard kite would be.
