F45 and FP45 are among my favorite body styles. Interesting how road number carries across window on aft side door.

I agree with Baron,s comment from 2015. I guess you could call these units six axle F units. Thanks for posting a real nice shot.

I would call them six-axle Fs in spirit. F45 and earlier F-unit series had very different construction: in F-units the carbody was built like a truss bridge, tops of truss can be seen through side grille; and, the F45 was built on an SD-style frame with the full-width body being pretty much just sheet metal.
