BEAUTIFUL, THANKS ! I've always been hard-pressed to decide which Railroad I MISS MORE, the Lehigh Valley OR the Delaware & Hudson. Very similar in SOME ways, very different in others, they were both fascinating to spend time around.

Great information with wonderful shot of last month of Lehigh Valley prior to Conrail. I miss the Lehigh Valley locos in all their paint schemes. Love the smelter & all the other compositions in this photo. PCA for me.

Great picture...sadly I was 5 years and 3 days old when this was taken...I never had the opportunity to witness the LV in action...though I am addicted to the LV RR history.
