There is no such thing as a 'oddly placed' engine within an engine consist, unless maybe it is a end cab switcher being used as the lead unit on a stack train.

We just finished with this storm here in Northern Utah. This is a great picture, Andrew. Either you were in an exceptionally great location for this shot or you used some other "gadget". Harsh weather shoots best.
