That is outstanding Nick. Great idea and execution. Mr. Morant would approve. (And be a little jealous) And you are so right. The only time a place is overshot is when the photographers are average. No place will ever be overshot by skilled photographers for each one will be unique.

Beautifully unique work Nick! With higher ISOs that have low noise and digital darkroom these are becoming easier than the days of Ansel Adams (Adams masterpieces were not in just his capture but in perfecting in his darkroom). But, it still takes experience and skill to plan and time the right capture (may I also add, determination in the cold weather). Your other photo taken the same night (ID 553698) in colour that you submitted November 9/15, is a great capture also! (Photo of the Week; People's Choice 1)
