Can't believe this conrail c39-8 still doing the job in 2016 nice catch wonder what's behind ?

A check of Google Maps, shows that this small station and the larger main station to the right are both undergoing thorough restoration, including NEW concrete platforms on both sides of the tracks. This must be for SOME worthwhile purpose.
