I;m more curious about the oddball hoppers n the left side. Whats the story behind those.

David, I hadn't forgot about your comment here, but anyway. They're scrap cars that should go through the scrapper along with their loads according to car knockers. They're old coal porters with raised sides. The floors take a beating of which they weren't designed for. They're regular cars for Newell between East Point and Hapeville.
