Dave, I recall that story quite well and if I recall it correctly, it was a lesson in weeding with firearms...LOL! While I am not usually a fan of "drone shots", I have to admit that this is one of the more spectacular ones I have seen. Well worth the effort and nice job all around. I hope to see you again trackside one of these days!

PCA Voted. Excellent photo, makes me even more excited for my 2017 trip to Alaska.

That photo is fantastic! Makes me want to get up to Alaska one of these autumns.

Great shot Dave. Straight into 3 albums I have on RPN which must be a first. Yes probably best aerial shot I've seen.

Kudos to Mrs. B for her help in getting this great shot! Wonderful color, vista, and bridge details. Stunning!

Besides being a truly outstanding photo there is an interesting service detailed revealed here--namely that the ARR uses one of its short dome coaches now on the HURRICANE TURN. Not too many yers ago this was an RDC, then an RDC demotored, while powered by a Geep. Thanks for the remarkable shot!

Stellar. This is something I've wanted to do with a drone ever since we went last year. Nicely done.

Spectacular shot and view, I will have to add to my collection soon.

This is, quite simply, the best picture of fall colours that will ever be seen. Best ever: period. And then, when one reads the remarks that Mr Blazejewski has written, plus his remarks on his 2011 picture to which he refers, one can only stand in awe of the effort and dedication expended to achieve this result.
