Wow! I am sure that was quite a sight. I guess that is what happens when Union Pacific doesn't maintain there equipment. It is amazing the Union Pacific is not only using the water car, but they are also using a SD60M I haven't been seeing many of those.

Being that's in California, I'm surprised they're even allowed to do what's going on here, I mean that sludge will kill the remains of splattered insects on the front of that 60M. The State of California will furnish some harsh consequences after this photo makes the rounds.
