Water tower with cranked legs is quite interesting; would be feature of interest on a model RR. Google maps shows it on corner of roof but in street view from Lee Street Southwest is blocked by raised tracks in concrete viaduct and Google Earth oblique view fragments and omits parts of the legs. Best Google street view is from Sylvan Road and Murphy Avenue intersection.
Wow man, there is much of railroad interest in vicinity. And a lot of sadly disused spurs; the times they have a'changed, to modify a lyric. Whatever that place was at Murphy, Shelton, and Glen, streets is huge and was apparently served by multiple spurs. Hey, old RR shops and filled turntable pit over between Ralph David Abernathy, McDaniel, and I85
