I find them all to be interesting and photo worthy, because that's just it; time will render them all historical artifacts, and what seems commonplace today will all be bygones tomorrow. Railfans are a strange lot that way - how many used to turn their noses up at "Conrail power," in the same vein?! Whenever I got that kind of snobbery from what was "common" from fellow railfans, I always told them they shouldn't take any of it for granted. "One day, Conrail will be just another fallen flag," I'd tell then when they complained about the lack of "foreign" power. How prophetic my words seem today. I'll repeat them again - Take nothing for granted, because one day it will be gone, replaced by something else. Get your pictures while you can.

Is it just my need for new glasses, or do the background hills and trees appear very much like a watercolor painting? A tad bit boggling but cool.
