Seeing the 10 ton weight limit, I wonder what the GWV was for the streetcar. You have to consider total weight when fully loaded with passengers. Not much aluminum was used in their construction. I rode in Pittsburgh streetcars often in the 1960's. The archway shown had a walkway from a parking lot across the street from the P&LE Station shown on the left. It was located at the end of the Smithfield Bridge over the Monongahela River. Too bad it's no longer there.
