It is amazing to think of something this modern going to the places I have read about in the Bible, when you stop and think of how people had to travel in those days.

It really is amazing, and in the next year or so, they will open a High Speed electric train between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. 20 minute travel time between cities.

I was there in 1973 and as we entered Haifa Bay by ship we were warned not to take any pictures. If we did our cameras would be taken and emptied out. Of course, being in a foreign country and scared of what the authorities might do to us we obeyed the warning. The country of Israel is more modern than one thinks. I took many pictures while I was there as our group traveled through out in the course of 14 days. Always wanted to go back, but then money became the problem when I didn't have enough funds.
