Did this train run through Cedar Hill and then join the main line at Cedar interlocking in North Haven?

No, the train in the photo is on a passenger line (which is still used by Amtrak) that runs parallel to the yard on the west side separated by some marshland. Passenger trains did not run through the yard itself.
