Wow. Being a resident of Plymouth, this is a view I've never gotten to experience before. Very cool. Plymouth is a mere shadow of what once was in railroading. Some of the track that hasn't seen a wheel turn in over 40 years is still on the ground. In the small grove of trees and brush where the white fence is to the right ( map north) of the station, still lies a switch and diamond from the days when the PRR Logansport-South Bend line, crossed and interchanged with the interchange track between the PRR main and the NKP / N&W (E&W now). The line ran thru the plant from left to right in the picture and crossed the PRR main about where the 2nd covered hopper is and crossed the NKP about 20 yards south of the there. The interchange track that has the track gang mobile on it did not exist until some 10 years ago or so. All the interchange was to the north of the station back in the day.
