Over the last several months, I must have seen at least 20 different Railway companies with the same paint scheme. Name on sides and initials on the front, being the only difference. I've even seen this scheme on Australian locomotives. Can anyone explain this? Just curious.

Genesee and Wyoming own all of them.

The orange paint scheme is the corporate paint scheme of the Genesee & Wyoming Company. G & W operates over 100 different short line and regional carriers in North America. Locomotives are painted in the corporate scheme but carry logos of the individual carriers.

Thank. Puzzle solved. They do get around, don't they; even Australia.
