Wow! That's a pretty cool story Alex. I sure hope the unit is still in service. I haven't seen many SD20s around lately. Then again, I haven't really been active.

Great shot and effort! And to think I lived as a young man on the IC mainline in Champaign, IL, and got tired of seeing these locos!. Not now...God I miss them and the IC mainline from back then!!! Great to see them still working hard elsewhere after 50 plus years - these beasts have different amazing histories - some were SD 7s! Fast forward - I did see Marquette's RR's SD 20 when it passed through Grand Rapids Michigan in 2107 - shocking and amazing! .
