The "lateness" was unfortunately not an aberration, and the "Blossom" soon would lose its expedited traffic as a result. A pair of slower pig trains in the Florida-NYC lane carrying the traffic that would tolerate the longer, more attainable (for CSX's sorry operation) schedule would soldier on in the "Blossom's" wake.

He was late, but not horrendously late. I have the T.O.D. for the photo recorded as 14:25. Assuming I have the valid schedule for that date, he should've arrived Pot Yard at 12:45. And he's still--what--an hour out.
