Thats a long consist for any Silver Service train. I count 10 Amfleets whereas the usual is 4-5 Amfleet II coaches and an Amfleet II cafe. Also the first 5 cars look to be Amfleet I's. Do you have any more info about this? Equipment move maybe?

Amtrak called this train the Safety Patrol Train. Not really sure what that means but maybe that’s why there are extra cars.

Safety Patrol is something that I am assuming is unique to Florida. Its something that 5th graders can volunteer for or are selected for and its kind of a pseudo-security/safety guard thing to teach them a little responsibility. I think the train takes safety patrol kids from all over the state to DC for a field trip or something of those sorts.
