Very nice photo of the 6409, Charles, which brings back a lot of pleasant memories for me! As a teenage railfan way back in October 1972, I made a lengthy trip in this unit (180 miles) from Flat Rock, MI to Springfield, OH when it was brand-spanking new for its first owner, the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad.
