Love this perspective Georg, nice photo. Is the Swithland Sidings signal box still operational, or is it now a museum piece? That is a lot of "Armstrong" levers to operate and keep track of which signal and track alignment you need to set up!

The Swithland Signal box is fully operational and has to be staffed for every vehicle movement. But it is not "still" operational, but was completely new built (with parts from closed signal boxes elsewhere). The building itself was originally located at Aylesbury South and is a GWR box of 1905 vintage. The installation of all things was over about 20 years and the box is operational since 2012 now.
