Seems like it did not take Union Pacific to restore this fine locomotive. Cannot wait to see it on the tracks somewhere out West. Sure would like to see the "Big Boy' and the "Challenger" pull freight cars every now and again as revenue.

Does the Big Boy still burn coal, or does it burn fuel.

Christian, the locomotive has been converted to burn oil.

4014 has been converted to burn fuel oil. That is why they are using the Challengers tender.

Will the Big Boy's tender be converted.

I wonder far back you have to stand from the Big Boy to get the whole in one video frame.
