THANKS Tim for the news.......I remember looking all over McKees Rocks back in the early 90's for this locomotive but never did find it. Sounds like it's going to a great last resting place....Tom.

Thanks for the update. Sure wish this Texas type locomotive could be operated some day. But Sugar Creek, Ohio is certainly a very nice home for her.

Quite the small cab for such a large locomotive, wow. Thanks for the write up and great shot, Timothy!

Tom--Back in the 90s, the locomotive was still kept indoors. In fact, it wasn't exposed to the weather until the early/mid 2000s when the warehouse it was stored in (essentially where she sits) collapsed around it due the weight of heavy snow. You're all welcome for the update, of course.

I'm glad she's going to a good home. But let me get this straight, it was restored for operation about 30 years ago, then sat *indoors* and out of the elements until about 15 years ago (presumably must have been in pretty good condition), and this is what it looks like 15 years later?! That's such a shame! I'd imagine if they just built a shed over her it would be in pretty decent shape today. Wow.
