My guess is wreck repairs on the cab/short hood with the over-spray on the long hood. To me it looks like The Rock had a second Bicentennial unit!

To me this underscores how much more attractive the older red & yellow scheme was compared with the "bankrupt blue" "Rock" scheme.

I'm guessing a hood from a different unit and repaired the cab and just got overspray. Cheaper to touch up than match it all. Very nice shot!
