I know the feeling of having to wait and then decide to do something I should have done earlier. But while being impatient I was glad I waited for a train I didn't know existed. Now in my old age I am more impatient and then go do the chore any way while missing the train all together. It seems like this kind of stuff has no affect on me when I have missed out on many opportunities like you have described. Love your long oral arguments of why it was necessary to take this shot.
